Learn Italian in Florence:Italian Language Courses in Florence, Italy

Koinè's program in Florence was the first school started by our association in 1980 and is the head office and management structure for all our schools today.

Florence is a city of history and culture. You can view the past wherever you turn, from its medieval and Renaissance buildings and monuments. But the city's cultural side is still vibrant today: contemporary painting, sculpture, cinema, and fashion are also an essential part of Florence. Studying Italian in Florence is a unique experience, because Florence is also where the Italian language was born during the times of Dante. It is in Florence that the truest form of Italian is spoken, so aside from learning correct Italian, you will experience the context and beauty of this splendid Italian city.
