The course is held in a traditional atelier of the Florentine artist Andrea Ortuno in the old center of the city and can be considered a subsidiary activity to the Italian language course in the morning. Painting and drawing lessons with different techniques are offered for a period of 2, 3 or 4 weeks for beginners and advanced. Prerequisites are not requested as the teacher follows the progress of each single student individually. The course is held in Italian and on request also in English language.
At the end of a 4-weeks course each participant will have completed a personal portfolio with his works.

STRUCTURE
The course is offered from 2 to 4 weeks with 2 or 3 lessons of 3 hours each week.
Basic materials and Italian taxes are included in the course fee.
On request 1 hour of History of Art lesson can be offered at the beginning of every session.
Courses start on the scheduled starting dates or on request on other dates.

The Koinè Institute takes advantage of the experience and professionality of the painter Andrea Ortuno, son of the well known painter Enrique Ortuno, who had been a student of Pablo Picasso.
Andrea Ortuno has studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze (Academy of Fine Arts of Florence), his activity as a painter has brought him to give numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Courses on jewelry and jewelry design are offered on request.
